<p>OK, so maybe not fit for purpose is a bit strong, but it does go to show that our ability to achieve some of the things we&#8217;ve talked about (especially cloud based solutions) is going to face some pretty difficult challenges.</p>
<p>Bandwidth is the unspoken barrier to the cloud, we assume it to be there but in reality it isn&#8217;t consistent enough (yet) for us to rely on it providing the necessary connection to all the great things we want to achieve.</p>
<p>Application architects and solution providers will need to think creatively about how we build applications that take this into account.</p>
